For 10 years since moving to Lanark Country ON I've tryed every essential oil mix recommenced to repel ticks. Nothing worked. In fact I lost my precious dog to Lyme disease even under Wholeistic Vet care.
I now have a 3 yr. old dog and going through the same discouraging issues with ticks. This past winter I came across a USA cedarwood product with wonderful reviews. What caught my eye was by a hunter using it for his dog. It repelled and those that found a spot were dead or falling off. (He lay his dog on a white sheet after each outing to observe this). I inquired with the company but they didn't ship to Canada. I checked their product ingredients to make my own.
I came across PUROLEO CEDARWOO OIL on Amazon. It had good reviews from people using it as a repellent after diluting and finding it worked.
I bought mine here from the company and use the 20% Cedarwood to carrier (food grade mineral oil with organic Apple Cider vinegar and WithHazel). I added the last two, keeping the cedarwood at 20%, because the mineral and cedar oil were too greasy alone. It's working well and the few ticks my dog has had (compared to years before) are not full and all but one was dead. So, I'm here to day to order some more and keep my peace of mind.
I bought the Alore a few months ago and I love this product for my highly sensitive and reactive skin. This soothes my red spots and is a crucial step in my acne management routine. Buying it again in combination with their vitamin e ( my absolute favourite) they work in synergy.
I absolutely love this product. Helps with sun spots, and wrinkles. . I use it on my face, hands and nails. This product works well with my facial creams. My son-in-law has been using it daily on his face because of sun damage.
I highly recommend it.
